Shared Co-Work Space
The Shared Co-Work Space initiative is a City of Kingman Economic Development Department partnership with Western Arizona Vocational Education (WAVE), who is constructing the facility. The project is currently in the design phase, with construction anticipated to begin by September 2026 and occupancy targeted for June 2027. The facility is intentionally designed to bring together future workforce, entrepreneurs, and business support services in one integrated environment. Within the building, WAVE students will participate in career-focused classroom instruction, representing Kingman’s future workforce. Located alongside these students. will be the City of Kingman Economic Development team and Mohave Community College’s Small Business Development Center, providing direct access to business advising assistance, entrepreneurship resources, and workforce connections. This proximity is intended to create natural collaboration between education, business support, and emerging enterprises, while offering entrepreneurs and small businesses a professional, flexible workspace. The City’s Economic Development team has supported the project through coordination, planning, and collaboration with education, workforce, and community partners to ensure the space aligns with long-term economic development and workforce goals.
