Historic Arizona Route 66 was decommissioned with the opening of I-40 in 1988. That year was the inaugural Fun Run and included 152 entries with over 60 cars making the complete journey from Seligman through Kingman to Topock. Today, more than 800 classic, custom and unique automobiles show up for this fantastic celebration of Route 66!

Kingman 66 Fest is a celebration of the history and culture of Route 66. Lewis Kingman Park is the site of a collection of fun, family activities, like live music, a car and bike show, vendors, food, regional craft beer and Kingman's first and only zip-line.

The Kingsmen Andy Devine Pro Rodeo Committee hosts two professional rodeos annually at the Mohave County Fairgrounds. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Rodeo entertains fans each June, while the Grand Canyon Professional Rodeo Association (GCPRA) Rodeo occurs in September. Local rodeos are held throughout the year as well.

The Chillin on Beale Street Car Show is hosted by the Route 66 Cruizers every third Saturday of the Month from March to October. Classics, customs, creatives, motorcycles, EVs, and more cruise Historic Downtown Kingman for music, good food, and a down-home atmosphere.
