Mohave County Superior Court receives extra funding to meet backlog of cases

The Mohave County Superior Court system could receive almost $12500 in Arizona Supreme Court grant funding next week, as the court attempts to address an ongoing backlog of criminal cases.
On Monday, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote on whether to apply that grant funding toward ongoing efforts to reduce the county’s backlog of criminal cases, which would otherwise consume a large amount of judicial time.
