Tired of the same old routine? Do you want to start a routine? Consider stepping outside and reconnecting with nature! Kingman’s Trails & Walk Paths offer the perfect escape, whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just starting your fitness journey. As we wrap up National Wellness Month and kick off Self-Care Awareness Month, this is a great time to discover the benefits of exploring the great outdoors of Arizona.

Wellness Vs. Self-Care

While often used interchangeably, wellness and self-care are distinct concepts. “Wellness is the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind, especially as a result of deliberate effort,” says Guiding Wellness. The “deliberate effort,” is self-care.

Quotes from the founders of the annual month-long awareness promotions:

  • “Self-care is really just about becoming an advocate for yourself,” says Evolve to Live, founders of Self-Care Awareness Month.
  • “We believe that small, daily acts of self-care lead to a lifetime of wellness,” says Live Love Spa, founders of National Wellness Month.

Focus on becoming an advocate for yourself by making Kingman’s Trails & Walk Paths your wellness sanctuary.

Kingman’s Trail Systems

Kingman has two major trail systems for walking, hiking, running, and escaping: White Cliffs (9.7 miles) and Cerbat Foothills Recreation Area (CFRA) (42.18 miles). With over 50 miles of passage, both systems take explorers on a scenic foot tour into the valleys and hillsides of Kingman. Covering so much land allows for multiple trails and walk paths of various lengths and challenges.

  2. You may encounter livestock.
  3. Wildlife is abundant during early mornings and late evenings.
  4. Summer mornings can be inviting, yet weather conditions are more favorable from September through May.

During the spring months, after a wet winter, wildflowers will bloom lending a different appearance and experience for trail and walk path explorers.
