Kingman, AZ – The City of Kingman congratulates Josh Noble, the City’s Tourism Services Manager, on being named Citizen of the Year at this year’s Andy Awards ceremony. A lifelong Kingman resident, Noble has dedicated nearly 20 years to serving the community and transforming Kingman into a premier tourism destination while preserving its history and character.

Noble began his career with the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce, starting as Events and Membership Services Director before advancing to become President and CEO of the Kingman Visitor Center, back when it fell under the Chamber’s management. In 2016, when the City of Kingman assumed responsibility for the Visitor Center and tourism operations, Noble joined the City team where his leadership, vision, and innovation continue to make a lasting impact.

Over the years, Noble has spearheaded numerous projects that highlight Kingman’s unique assets. From revitalizing the Visitor Center and launching award-winning Route 66 initiatives to preserving historic sites and creating iconic attractions, his work has brought national recognition to Kingman while fueling local pride. He also played a key leadership role in the Downtown Streetscape Project, which earned the 2024 Andy Award for Most Improved Commercial Property.

“Josh Noble’s dedication has elevated Kingman’s profile regionally and nationally,” said Kingman Mayor Ken Watkins. “His passion for tourism, his commitment to preserving our history, and his ability to bring innovative projects to life make him truly deserving of this recognition.”

The City of Kingman applauds Josh Noble for this well-deserved honor and celebrates his many contributions to our community. His leadership has strengthened tourism, supported economic growth, and enhanced Kingman’s reputation as a destination we are all proud to call home.
